In the foreground of the painting sits a large frog, shown in side profile. Its body is low and wide, with the front legs firmly pressed against the ground. The hind legs are folded beneath the body. The posture feels stable, grounded, and calm.

The frog's skin is painted with careful detail in shades of grey and black. The underside of the body is lighter, almost white, while the back is darker. The texture of the skin appears lively and subtly speckled, giving it a realistic and slightly rough surface.

The most distinctive feature is the frog's back, which is covered with rounded forms of varying sizes. They resemble bubbles, swollen growths, or clusters of spheres. The largest forms rise along the upper back, gradually becoming smaller toward the sides and lower areas. The shapes are softly shaded and highly three-dimensional, making them appear almost tangible.

The frog's eye is large and highly detailed. It contains concentric ring-like patterns that immediately draw attention. The gaze is directed forward and slightly upward.

The background is formed from vertical stripes. Black, white, and bright yellow lines repeat rhythmically across the surface, creating a bold graphic pattern. The yellow introduces strong energy and contrast against the otherwise restrained grey tones of the frog.

The frog rests on a black-and-white patterned surface filled with irregular organic shapes. This surface visually connects the figure to the background while maintaining its own independent rhythm and texture.

The atmosphere of the work is both calm and slightly unsettling. The realistic animal figure is combined with unusual, almost biologically impossible forms. The painting evokes curiosity and may feel simultaneously fascinating and strange — even slightly alien.
