A commissioned Imagiarium painting is a portrait designed individually to match your wishes, interests and the atmosphere you want the artwork to convey.

How the painting is created

Every piece begins with an idea. Based on this idea, I first create a unique reference image using AI and digital image editing. This stage takes several hours and forms the foundation of the painting.

The actual painting is done entirely by hand — slowly and with great precision. One artwork typically takes around 100 hours to complete. It's good to reserve a few months for the process to ensure the final result is exactly what you hoped for.

The finished piece is a combination of ideation, technology and traditional painting — fully unique from start to finish.

You are part of the process

A commissioned work progresses step by step in collaboration:

• You will see the reference image and sketch before painting begins

• You can still influence the content at this stage

• During the painting phase you receive progress photos

This ensures the final artwork matches your vision.

Pricing

The price of a commissioned work is always determined individually. Factors include size and the level of detail.

The base pricing is €0.35 per cm².

For example: 40 × 50 cm painting → approximately €700

The exact price is always agreed upon before the work begins.

Payment

• 50% is paid once the sketch is approved

• 50% is paid when the finished painting is approved
