Change of Form
Change of Form is a clothing collection developed as part of my Master of Arts thesis, exploring how form emerges through movement.
The process began with charcoal drawings of dancing figures in
constant motion and transformation.
These observations evolved
into simplified forms, which were translated into three-dimensional
work using a garment-focused 3D software, and ultimately constructed
into physical garments.
Many of the pieces are made from a single piece of material.
The
form does not follow traditional pattern-making, but develops through
material and structure.
Some garments feature prints derived from the original charcoal drawings, transferred onto fabric through digital printing — allowing the movement of the drawing to continue across the surface of the garment.
The collection brings together drawing, form, and clothing into a unified whole, where form is not fixed, but continuously evolving.
