Digi Cats
These
digital drawings depict my own cats, Alli and Ibis, in everyday,
fleeting moments.
The characters are simplified and slightly
cartoon-like, yet remain recognizable.
The drawings focus on movement and gesture: grooming, stretching,
observing, and playing.
They are not staged, but based on
photographic observations and quick moments captured in daily life.
The visual language is simple and clear. Form, line, and rhythm are central, while backgrounds support the subject without unnecessary detail.
These drawings also serve as a starting point for pattern design, where a single character can repeat and transform into a surface.
